Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Asomana Card Games mobile application (the “App”) provided by Asomana, represented by Kota Seki (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Please review these Terms and our Privacy Policy before using the App.

1. The App

The App provides multiple playing-card games for individual play. It includes features available offline, optional sign-in, cloud synchronization of game data, and advertising. All included games are free to play, and the App does not offer in-app purchases. Available features may vary by device, operating system, region, and App version.

2. Eligibility

If you are not old enough to enter into a contract independently under the laws where you live, you may use the App only with the consent of a parent or guardian. You must comply with the laws that apply to your use of the App.

3. Accounts and Guest Use

• Signing in is optional. You may use local features as a guest.
• Signing in with Apple or Google lets you synchronize scores and suspended games under the corresponding account.
• Guest data, signed-in account data, and data belonging to different accounts are kept separate.
• You are responsible for appropriately securing your sign-in credentials and device and should promptly contact us if you discover unauthorized use.
• Accounts created using different authentication methods are not guaranteed to be treated as the same account or automatically merged.

4. Saving and Cloud Synchronization

We work to provide reliable saving and synchronization, but data may be lost due to network outages, device failure, third-party service failures, deletion of the App, user error, or other circumstances. Please check synchronization status before and after important actions. If a synchronization conflict occurs, the App may select or merge saved data using update timestamps or other displayed criteria.

5. Advertising

Some games display ads before a game starts or after it ends. The App is designed, where practicable, to allow gameplay to continue if an ad fails to load. Advertisers provide the advertised content, products, and services, and we do not guarantee their quality, safety, legality, or availability.

6. In-Game Scores and Records

The App may store game progress, scores, and play records for display on gameplay and statistics screens. Saving, synchronizing, and deleting these records are governed by these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• Violate applicable law, these Terms, or public policy;
• Infringe the rights or interests of us or any third party;
• Gain unauthorized access, falsify authentication status, tamper with data, or obtain an improper benefit;
• Interfere with or impose an excessive load on the App or related systems;
• Copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code, except where applicable law permits; or
• Sell, redistribute, rent, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App without permission.

8. Intellectual Property

Rights in the App, software, text, screen designs, logos, and other content belong to us or their respective lawful owners. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive right to use the App and do not transfer ownership.

9. Third-Party Services

The App uses services provided by Apple, Google, Firebase, AdMob, and other providers. Their terms also apply. Changes, suspension, or failures of those services may make some App features unavailable.

10. Changes, Suspension, and Discontinuation

We may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App for product improvement, security, legal compliance, changes to third-party services, or other reasonable reasons. If a change materially affects users, we will provide reasonable advance notice in the App or on our website where practicable.

11. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and cloud data from the account screen in the App after reauthentication. Deleted data cannot be restored. See our Privacy Policy for details.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

We do not guarantee that the App will always be uninterrupted, available on every device, error-free, or able to preserve all saved data. We will exercise reasonable care in providing the App.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or any warranty, liability, or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms in response to changes in law, features, or services. We will give reasonable notice before a material change takes effect. Please review the latest Terms when continuing to use the App after a change.

14. App Store Version

If you obtain the App from the App Store, the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and Apple Media Services terms apply in addition to these Terms. To the extent of a conflict, Apple's applicable terms control.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. To the extent permitted by law, the Nagano District Court or Nagano Summary Court will have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance over disputes relating to the App. This does not limit any mandatory consumer protection rights under the laws where you live.
